Department Purpose: To produce a quality plastics part according to specific prints. III. Job Purpose/Scope: Inspect, sort and package plastics parts as they are produced on the plastics injection machines. IV. Job Duties/Responsibilities: The plastics machine operator is assigned to IMM to make plastic parts. Other duties may include: routine quality checks on components or making boxes for packaging. Essential Functions: 1. Inspect and package parts as they are manufactured. 2. Trim, sort, file or perform various types of hand operations on products. 3. Label and package components as directed. 4. Assist in other duties as assigned by set-up tech. 5. Overtime maybe requested in order to meet production needs and it may be mandatory in some circumstances.
