GEM Care has immediate openings in Clinton, TN for Production Associates working with Aluminum Die Casting and Aluminum Machining 2nd Shift.
Do you love overtime? This is a contract-to-hire position with plenty of overtime. First and second shifts available. The pay is $18 for first shift $19 for second shift. 1st shift is 5am-5pm and 2nd shift is 5pm-5am. This position offers excellent benefits from our client when you are hired permanently, including an on-site health center and free fitness club membership.
Responsibilities:
• Operates equipment and machinery in the casting, machining and assembly of automotive components
• Verifies that the component is cast, machined, and assembled according to customer specifications
• Moves materials throughout all stages of the manufacturing process
Qualifications:
• Previous experience in production, manufacturing or other related fields preferred
• Pass a drug screen and criminal background check
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and strong attention to detail
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, occasionally to frequently
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks for long periods of time
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Moderate level of mobility; ability to push, pull and move finished product
• Candidate should be self-motivated, energetic and highly organized
• Steel toed shoes required
• At least 18 years of age
