    Maintenance Engineer

    Job Description:
    We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Greeneville, TN. This is a Direct Hire opportunity with a long standing and highly reputable company.  The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing equipment failures, identifying root causes, and implementing corrective actions to improve reliability. Key responsibilities include estimating maintenance costs, evaluating effective alternatives, and managing Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) initiatives. Proficiency in Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) is required to assess the cost of equipment upgrades and rebuilds, forecast spare parts requirements, and providing feedback from PM CM parts usage. Knowledge of HVAC, boilers, and propane/CNG systems is essential.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Analyze equipment failures and identify root causes.
    • Implement corrective actions to enhance equipment reliability.
    • Estimate maintenance costs and evaluate effective alternatives.
    • Manage Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) initiatives.
    • Utilize CMMS to track maintenance activities and costs.
    • Assess the cost of equipment upgrades and rebuilds.
    • Forecast spare parts requirements and manage inventory.
    • Oversee MP2 PM CM processes.
    • Maintain and service HVAC, boilers, and propane/CNG systems.
    • Assist Maintenance Supervisor to plan, schedule and supervise services internally for the Maintenance, Machine Shop and Engineering Departments.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering Technology or related field
    • 3 years of proven experience in Maintenance Engineering.
    • Strong analytical skills to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
    • Proficiency in CMMS and MP2 PM CM processes.
    • Knowledge of HVAC, boilers, and propane/CNG systems.
    • Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
    • Ability to forecast spare parts requirements and manage inventory effectively.
    • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

  • Tool Maker

    TOOLMAKER

    ToolMaker’s needed for an exciting Direct Hire opportunity in the Knoxville, TN area.  Starting pay rate will depend on experience, education, and training. Shift hours are 7:00 AM until 3:30 PM.

    Job Description:
    Tool makers are responsible for building and making tooling for various machines within the manufacturing facility.  Qualified Toolmakers have the ability to operate CNC and Manual machines within the Tool Room.  Review Blueprints and use Solidworks (CAD) to build tooling.

    • CAD and CAM skills preferred
    • Blueprint reading skills
    • Manual machining
    • CNC operation and programming
    • EDM & Die sinking
    • Injection molding tooling experience preferred
    • Knowledge of hydraulic and air clamping systems a plus
    • Must be able to understand and perform to quality standards, methods, usage of inspection devices and reporting as required
    • Perform specialty operations as requested by mold makers and tool management (EDM, Bridgeport, grinding, polishing, etc)
    • Help fine-tune molds based on feedback from molding department and requests from mold makers
    • Repair molds based on feedback from molding department
    • Change mold versions
    • Work from engineering drawings to mark out design on raw materials; cutting into shape using manually controlled machine tools (such as lathes, milling machines, grinding machines, jig borers and jig grinders) along with hand tools. Some tasks may be required to be completed utilizing CNC machines and operator performed programming
    • Read blueprints and use necessary measuring devices to make, or modify existing tooling, tools for new or old job prints
    • Repair or requisition replacement parts, tooling or hardware as needed to maintain adequate stock.
    • Will be required to make Die Making items and maintain existing dies; this could include punches, dies, steel rule dies and die sets
    • Assist production areas in troubleshooting machining processes and equipment problem
    • Work closely with engineering in creating proto-type tooling and parts
    • Check tooling in and out of tool room computer
    • Set-up and operate all tool room
    • Utilize hydraulic and air clamping systems on occasion

    Education & Experience:

    • 3+ years of experience as a Toolmaker
    • Apprenticeship in Toolmaking is preferred
    • Training in CAD and CAM Software
