Maintenance Engineer

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Greeneville, TN. This is a Direct Hire opportunity with a long standing and highly reputable company.  The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing equipment failures, identifying root causes, and implementing corrective actions to improve reliability. Key responsibilities include estimating maintenance costs, evaluating effective alternatives, and managing Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) initiatives. Proficiency in Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) is required to assess the cost of equipment upgrades and rebuilds, forecast spare parts requirements, and providing feedback from PM CM parts usage. Knowledge of HVAC, boilers, and propane/CNG systems is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
– Analyze equipment failures and identify root causes.
– Implement corrective actions to enhance equipment reliability.
– Estimate maintenance costs and evaluate effective alternatives.
– Manage Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) initiatives.
– Utilize CMMS to track maintenance activities and costs.
– Assess the cost of equipment upgrades and rebuilds.
– Forecast spare parts requirements and manage inventory.
– Oversee MP2 PM CM processes.
– Maintain and service HVAC, boilers, and propane/CNG systems.

Qualifications:
– Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering Technology or related field
– 3 years of proven experience in Maintenance Engineering.
– Strong analytical skills to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
– Proficiency in CMMS and MP2 PM CM processes.
– Knowledge of HVAC, boilers, and propane/CNG systems.
– Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
– Ability to forecast spare parts requirements and manage inventory effectively.
– Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

MAINTENANCE MECHANIC / MILLWRIGHT

Maintenance Mechanics needed for a large manufacturing company located in Greeneville, TN.  Starting pay rate $28.50 per hour increasing to $29.50 in 3 months.  This is a Direct Hire opportunity with an excellent benefits package.  Must be willing and able to work any shift (1st, 2nd, or 3rd).

Job Description: 
Mechanical maintenance duties on heavy industrial machinery and equipment.  Also responsible for mechanical repairs on facilities, utilities and buildings.  Must be able to disassemble and assemble various types of equipment and machinery using hand tools, machines and welding equipment.  Experience working with plumbing for gas, water, steam and hydraulic lines required.  Performing preventative maintenance on machines and equipment.  Welding, brazing, grinding, fabrication, and machining parts, metals, and equipment.  Install and relocate equipment as required.

Must be fit tested in the use of company supplied respiratory protection equipment.  This equipment will consist of air purifying respirators and Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus.

Education & Skills:

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 3-5 years of experience in Mechanical Maintenance within a Heavy Industrial Environment
• 3-5 years of experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, millwright principles, pipe fitting, and blueprint reading required.
• 3-5 years of experience with Welding and Fabrication.
