Molding Inspector: 2nd Shift

Molding Inspector needed for a manufacturing company located near Morristown, TN.  This is a temp to hire position.

Job Description:

Supports the manufacturing operation through compliance with all procedures and standards.

Essential Duties:

• Examines product for surface defects such as cracks, incomplete and light welds.
• Compares product with visual board to ensure quality and completion of assembly.
• Verifies specified dimensions of product by the use of go/no go gauges.
• Notifies supervisor of rejects or defective parts and marks defect on part, then places parts in red tote.
• Check lot dates.

Minimum Educational and Work Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Comply with company policies and safety regulations.
• Must be able to function under pressure and handle strict deadlines.
• Required to clean and maintain 5S process at all times.
• Give attention to detail, neatness and accuracy to ensure quality and customer requirements are being met.
